New Moon in Capricorn & Portal to 2025!

Welcome to the quiet, grounded magic of the New Moon in Capricorn on December 30 and the brand new energetic landscapes of 2025! Thank you so much for joining me in this reflection and for your support and appreciation for all my Star Notes! This is a great time for deep cleaning, purifying, decluttering, organizing, giving away or letting go of things that weigh you down. Start the year with a clean and bright space that inspires infinite new possibilities. We are anchoring one of the biggest shifts in consciousness and some of the most dynamic and potent years in human history in 2025 and 2026!

Before we race into 2025, it’s worth pausing to reflect on 2024. As we process the difficult emotions and experiences, may we remember that adversity can be an incredible ignition and motivation to generate more light. Yet, a fair and balanced review must also include what we did that made a positive difference in the world, as well as our successes and your strengths because this review is designed to bring us clarity on what we wish to carry forward, grow and expand in 2025. Take time to explore, heal and release old energies with gratitude for the blessings and lessons, and redirect your focus toward the sacred, light and joy as you contemplate this energetic bridge into the new year.
Every New Moon is a sacred opportunity to come back to center, reorient ourselves and recalibrate our body, mind, heart and soul with new information for the journey ahead. During this period of longer darkness and coldness (in the Northern hemisphere), it’s easy to grow despondent and complacent. This is where Capricorn’s resilience, long-range vision and determination come in handy. If today looks grim, cast your gaze further into the future. Be patient with yourself and others, and fortify your vision for a more loving, caring, connected world, radiating peaceful harmony as much as you can.

Capricorn awakens a strong, wise and resilient being inside all of us that is ready to fulfill our life mission with deep integrity. From an evolutionary perspective, the dissolution and healing of external power structures is designed to inspire us to reclaim our inner authority and fulfill our authentic life purpose. This process requires some time for serious and disciplined grounding in order to rebuild or strengthen our inner foundations. The wisdom of Capricorn also connects us to a stronger sense of personal energetic mastery, when we stay with ourselves and take full responsibility for our inner state at every moment. Energetic mastery is being able to notice how we are feeling at any time and consciously shift it because we have the power to change it through conscious intent, deep breathing, yoga, nature walks, a relaxing bath or exercise.

Chiron just ended a five-month retrograde on December 29, which increases its energetic resonance for several days before and after this New Moon. As Chiron represents the complex journey of healing, this period invites us to revisit how our wounds have shaped us to become the person we are today. Chiron encourages us to get back to the business of self-care and healing - body, mind and spirit - and nursing any grief or sadness over personal and societal tragedies, both at home and around the globe. This New Moon and New Year portal is a sacred retreat, in which we welcome an inner stillness, holding space for the potentials of the new year to birth, and trusting that we will know when to take the next steps.
